Real Estate Tax Exemption for Certain Elderly and Disabled Person

Applications must be filed by April 1, 2024
To qualify; income from all sources may not exceed $35,000 and capital
assets, excluding the dwelling you live in and 2 acres of land, may not
exceed $60,000. For more information or an appointment, call the office
of the Commissioner of Revenue at (804) 785-5976 or (804) 769-5002.
Applications can also be found online at www.kingandqueenco.net under
the Commissioner of Revenue’s page. Please contact this office to
confirm receipt of your application if using any filing method other than
in person. The application must be received in our office no later than
